Mails for the trans-Tasman weekly air service will close at the Ashburton Post Office, 5 p.m. every Friday. Air mails within New Zealand close at the Ashburton Post Office: North bound—Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 8 p.m.; South bound —Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 7 a.m. Overseas Mails (Outward). Mails for Australia and countries via Australia will close at the Ashburton Post Office at 7 a.m., Wednesday, July 31. Mails for overseas will be closed and forwarded as opportunity offers.
