GERMANY REPORTS USE.
SILENCING OF PROPELLER.
(Received This Day* 10.40 a.m.) BERLIN, July 25.
The radio stated that Germany is aising n 'new small type of U-boat, one of which sank the steamer St. Georges in the Channel. Thews U-boats are fitted with silencing apparatus that renders’ detection of the noise of the propeller impossible.
