A great many Hollywood productions provide the theme tor a song, but it remained for a famous song. “South of the Border,” to provide the theme for the Republic Gene Autry production of that name. The picture dramatises the lyrics of “South of the Border,” which is the ton song in all radio and music sheet polls, as well as in record sales. Gene is the cowboy, with June Storey and Capita Tovar as romantic interest. * t* r “So This Is 'London” is one of the brightest and swiftest comedies to come from a British studio. The prestige of British films is reaching its zenith.
