An Air Ministry communique states: “Aircraft factories at Gotha, Kassal and Wenzendorf, oil depots at Hamburg and Gelsenkirchen, railway communications, goods yards, anh-aircratt batteries, searchlights, and 12 aerodromes were among the objectives in Holland and Germany attacked last night by our bombers. An enemy lighter which attempted to intercept one or our bom ers was shot down. One of our aircraft is missing. “Coastal Command aircraft, besides carrying out their usual patrol and escort duties, attacked patrol boats in Dunkirk harbour, yesterday afternoon, shot down an _enemy flying-boat olt e north-east of Scotland last evening, and attacked oil tanks at Flushing and docks at Amsterdam during the night.
