AN UNUSUAL ACCIDENT. (Per Press Association). 1 WELLINGTON*, July 23. An unusual accident occurred in Victoria Strpct' this morning. An employee of iho Yiekerv Electrical Company, V. Bucko,ridge, was boring holes in front of the building for the purpose, of affixing a brass platy when thy drill he was using struck a 400-volt electrical cable running inside the wall. There was a loud report, arid a puff of flame find smoke. Buekoridge suffered burnsand shock, necessitating his removal to hospital. Til'd fire brigade was summoned, but its services were not required.
