The Bucharest correspondent of the Associated Press says thdt the Russians are advancing across the frontiers of Bessarabia and Bukovina and that Russian warships have entered Oonstanza Harbour.

, The full terms of tlue Russian* demands have not yet been revealed. Air official Rumanian communique tonight says that the Crown Council, under the presidency of King Carol* noted the Soviet demands and ceded Bessarabia, and the northern part of Bukovina. The Government, being desirous of maintaining good relations, asked the Soviet to fix the locality and name a delegation to discuss the Russian demands.

According to the Associated Press Rumanian officials said that the cohimuniqu© meant that King Carol Will satisfy all Russian demands. The Rumanian Legation in London issued a statement that it was virtually impossible to resist the Russian demands. Franqa’s surrender and Britain’s inability to send help and Turkey’s present position, had a decisive influence oil Rumania’s attitude. Armed resistance would have led to heavy loss of life and only slightly delayed the inevitable result. The Berlin correspondent of the British United Press says it is stated in a-well-informed source tliat “Germany’s primary interest in this area is economic and /while the free flow of commodities is unimpeded the Reich Will not consider her vital interests infringed.”
