ADVANCE MADE IN FRANCE. 10 ' I BRITISH RAIDS MINIMISED. (Received This Day, 10.45 a.m.) BERLIN, June 27. - A communique states: “According to the conditions laid down in the. armistice agreement our troops advanced as far as the Dordogn section, east of Bordeaux.” Reconnaissances and attacks by weak enemy sea forces on the northern French coast during ’Monday night were easily repelled. A submarine reports the sinking of 35,000 tons of shipping. During last night German ’planes again attacked docks and quays and bombed aeroplane factories in England. One of our ’planes failed to return. British ’planes continued bombing attacks in western Germany last night, without damaging military objectives. Many civilians were killed or wounded. Three British ’planes were shot down.
