SALE OF PIGSi AND POULTRY. Prices at the pig and poultry sale in Ashburton to-day were: — Pigs—Baconers, £3.Bs 6d to £4! lls 6d; porkers, 48s to 54s 6d : stores, 27s 6d to 335; weaners and slips, 14s to 17s 6d. Poultry—Hens, 3s lGd to 7s Gd; ducks, 3s 4d to 3s 7d. ASHBURTON HORSE FAIR. Horses were sold for the following prices at the fair in Ashburton to-day : Mare, four years, at £l3 10s: gelding, four years, at £l3; aged geldings at £S 10s and £7.
