COMMANDS SPLENDID CAST. One of the Metro-Golclwyn-Mayer’S most ambitious production items of the year is announced with the statement from the company that four stars, Clark Gable, Spencer Tracy, Claudette Colbert and Hedy Lamarr will have leading roles in “Boom Town,” which will be directed by Jack Conway. Sam Zimbalist will produce. The story is an original by James Edward Grant. Tracy and Miss Lamarr recently completed co-starring roles in “I Take This Woman.” Since completing the role of Rhett Butler in “Gone With the Wind,” Clark Gable has made one other picture, “Strange Cargo,” with Joan Crawford. Miss Colbert is currently seen in “Drums Along the Mohawk.”
