BOMBING BY GERMANS ITALIANS ON FRONTIER STRONG DEFENCES BAR WAY (United Press Association.—Copy rig at. I ! (Received This Day, 8.55 a.m.) LONDON, June 12. The battle for Paris is now in full swing, following the withdrawal of French troops in accordance with orders. The Germans* are bombing the Paris area. The Allied air forces are attackiiig German convoys, troop concentrations and communications; , The Italians have brought up heavy forces on the Alpine frontier, but have not yet attacked. They would meet most effective resistance from a strong line of fortifications barring the way < to Nice and all the Alpine passes.
