SMOKE OVER PARIS.
MAY HAVE BEEN A SCREEN. TO SHIELD THE EVACUATION. (Received This Day, 1.45 p.m.) PARIS, June 11. Members of the diplomatic corps are leaving Paris and others ha.ve reached their destination safely after being bombed during the journey. The smoke cloud over Paris began to clear this afternoon. It is unofficially suggested that the authorities laid a smoke screen in order to hamper enemy air observation and protect the evacuation.
