COUNTY VOLUNTEERS.
THREE MORE ENLISTMENTS. TOTAL FOR THE DISTRICT 348. With three more enlistments at the Ashburton Defence Office to-day, the steady rate of enrolments during the last few weeks was maintained. The district total is now 348. The latest recruits are:— K. J. W. Johanis, Alford Forest R.D. J. S. B'egg, Ashburton. H. R. Freeman, Ashburton.
