UNADDRESSED PARCELS ANOTHER. 14,000 NOW WANTED i (Per Press Association). WELLINGTON, This Day. The; secretary of the National Patriotic Fund Board (Mr G. A. Hayden) says that inquiries show that misunderstanding exists as to the requirements concerning gift parcels for soldiers overseas. Individual parcels can he sent free of duty, provided the contents do not exceed seven pounds and do not include tobacco, cigarettes or liquor. Under the unaddressed parcels scheme, designed to ensure every man receiving a --arcel, cigarettes and tobacco can be included. Mr Hayden said that provincial patriotic councils were recently asked for the collection of a second consignment of such parcels. A total of 14,000 was required this time.
