VIOLENT FIGHTING.
STRUGGLE IN MENIN REGION.
GERMANS CLAIM TWO CAPTURES LONDON, May 27, Fighting in the Menin region has been very violent. The French AvitlidroAv from the Valenciennes region troops which had been established on the Scheldt to previously prepared positions. There were no important events on the Somme-Aisne front or in the east.
General Weygand flew OA'er the German lines yesterday on a visit to the Allied north army command. The German News Agency claims the capture of- Lens and Bethune, -
