THE RUSH IN AUSTRALIA.

1300 IN N.s.yv. YESTERDAY. (Received This Day, 10.25 a.m.) SYDNEY, This Day. Recruiting figures in New South Wales for the Australian Imperial Forces yesterday reached a new high level. Nearly 1300 men applied for enlistment.

Tho recruiting rush also continues in other states. At Melbourne more than 84,000 men have applied for enlistment in the Royal Air Force under the Empire Air Scheme.
