PUBLIC NOTICES. ASHBURTON COUNTY COUNCIL. HEAVY MOTOR VEHICLE REGULATIONS. OWNERS of motor trucks are reminded that Heavy Traffic Licenses must be renewed before Ist June, 1940. Owners of tractors, hauling trailers on roads are notified that these vehicles used for the hauling of produce arc also subject to Heavy Traffic Fees, the weight of the tractor and the trailer being the basis on unladen weight. Motor vehicles owned by Farmers and used for the transport of their awn produce, with laden weight of not more than 4 tons will be subject to a reduction of 50 per cent, in the License fee.
