THREE MEN INJURED.

(Per Press Association). DUNEDIN, This Day. As the result of n. collision between a. heavy and a light car, near Balclutha, last evening, three occupants of the latter were taken to hospital. They were: lan Weir insurance agent, with dayo'erous head injuries; Les. Nicol, hank clerk, fairly serious injury ; Stanley Mathcwson, garage storeman, minor injury. All are about 26 years of age. SOLDIER SEVERLY HURT. NELSON, This Day. Grave injuries to tho "head and laceration of the brain were suffered by a soldier, Private, Patrick Wentworth Linton, aged 22, when his motor-cycle collided with a telegraph pole in Brook Street, last No other vehicle was about when Linton was found and the cause of the accident is unknown. His condition is critical. INJURY TO HAND. While, working at Riverside yesterday, on the property of Mr H. J. McCosker, Mr S'amuel Burrows, of 9 Oxford Street, Ashburton, a bricklayer, caught his hand in a concrete mixer and was. admitted to the Ashburton Public Hospital late yesterday afternoon. His condition was reported to be quite satisfactory this morning.
