DRUNK IN CHARGE.
MOTOR-CYCLIST FINED £lO, (Per Press Association). CHRISTCHURCH, January 15. A fina of £lO and costs, in default 30 days’ hard labour, and the cancellation of his licence for 18 months, were the, penalties imposed on Hill Taggart, aged 34, a traveller, of Fitzgerald Avenue, when he appeared in the Magistrate’s Court this morning on a charge of being intoxicated in charge of a motor-cycle in R-iecartou Road on Saturday evening.
