A war communique states: Enemy artillery was active on the Wostorn Front/ Our Air Force recon.noitired France and the North Sea. A German aeroplane is missing. A British plane attempted to attack North Frisian Island, hut the bombs fell into the sea: BRITISH DENIAL OF REPORT. (Received This Day, 11.15 a.m.) LONDON, January 14. A high authority denies the German statement that a British, plane attempted an attack on one of the Frisian Islands. He adds that it was an ordinary security patrol. GERMAN REPORT OF ATTACK. NOT UNDERSTOOD IN LONDON. (Received This Day, 10.15 a.m.) LONDON, January 14 The reference in the German High Command communique to-day of the attack by the British aircraft on a German island during Friday night is not understood here. The flight on which aircraft of the Royal Air Force were engaged on Friday night was the normal security patrol.—British Official Wireless.
