It is officially stated that the Government has taken certain protective measures** for the constitution and application of a defence plan formulated at the outbreak of the war. Officials refuse to comment on the measures beyond saying that they cover everything.” The Brussels correspondent of the Associated Press of Great Britain says that all soldiers on leave have been ordered to rejoin the colours immediately. Holland has taken similar action on account of the less favourable situation.
