FINNS DESIGN ON TWO FRONTS. LARGE SOVIET FORCE MAROONED HELSINKI,' Januaryv 11. The Films are, attempting new encirclements of the Russian forces on two fronts. They have 'marooned 15,000 to 20,000 Russians in the Salla area, and are battering the flanks <n a. larger force in the Lbimola sector, where ski patrols have already damaged the Russian supply lines. The Russians are reported to have dispatched 35,000 -to 40,000 reinforcements from Kandalaksha to. Salla, but the foremost of them are wedged between Finnish forces, and in view of this it is most likely that the Russians will suffer vec another severe' defeat.
