« AUSTRALIAN EQUALS RECORD. HASTINGS, January 11. The visiting Australian hurdles champion, S. Tenner, equalled the New Zealand record for the 120 yards' hurdles when ho beat P. F. Sharpley (Hastings) and C. R. Bradwell (Canterbury) at Napier to-night. The record was established by Sharpley in a match race with the Canterbury champion, Bradwell, at Rotorua three years ago. Tenner won by 18 inches in 15 seconds. Bradwell was several yards behind Sharpley.
