DECISIONS OF THE COMMITTEE. The monthly meeting of the Lowcliffe School Committee was attended by Alessrs W. H.' Price, C. Gilliand, AY. AlcKeage and L. Carter. It was decided that the school picnic on' December 13 take the form of an excursion to Caroline Bay. The breakup ceremonies and prize distribution will be held at the school on December 14. It was left to the master (Air I). AlcRae) to procure the prizes and 'Airs H. Price to procure the toys for the Christmas tree. ft was resolved that the 'committee attend to the oiling of floors during tlie vacation. The chairman reported that tractor work had been done on the grounds preparatory to levelling and sowing down. The following report was received from the headmaster: Total roll number 68, average roll 64. At the end of last month Aliss Bouclier, who lias been assistant at this school lor three -and a half years, left to take up a position on the staff of tlie Pleasant Point School. At an afternoon at which most of the parents were present a presentation of a gold watch to Aliss Boucher was made bv.Master lan Carter. Air AY. 11. Price and Air D. McRae spoke in eulogistic terms of Aliss Boucher’s conscientious service during her three and a half years’ term. Aliss Lyla McKenzie, of Geraldine, is temporarily filling the vacant position.
