First factors in the rare delight provided by “The Cheat” at Sydney Savoy, are the superb artistry ot Sacha Guitry and the distinctly novel way in which the picture is treated. After that is the comedy of the production, ranging from the cynical to the boisterous, and the romance and glitter of the story and settings. Merely to see Guitry is to be for ever a captive to his charms. * * * • His Majesty King George AT requested a private screening at Sandringham of the A.T.P. Capad production, “The Ware Case,” starring Clive Brook, Barry K. Barnes, and Jane Baxter. * .'* * * Mickey Rooney will become the youngest director in motion pictures, when production starts on “Babes in Arms,” in which Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer bring Mickey and Judy Garland together again for the second time.
