CONCERN IN HOLLAND.
“CRUEL CHARACTER OF STEPS.” DISORGANISATION OF SERVICE. | i «* LONDON, November 23. The Amsterdam correspondent of the "Daily Mail” says that the Dutch. Government has issued a statement regarding the export control. "The cruel character of the British measures for the Netherlands,” the statement says, "admits of no doubt. It is manifest how. much damage is caused when ships remain for weeks in British ports because of disorganisation of the control service. This means an unbearable expenditure. The Belgian and Netherlands Ministers for Economics are conferring with a view to increasing mutual trade. The Brussels correspondent of "Tho Times” says that shipping circles are alarmed at the export control. The Government will protest to Britain. The Rotterdam correspondent of; the "Daily Telegraph” says it is officially stated in Berlin that Germany will meet the British export control with unrestricted mine warfare.
