COMBAT OVER NORTH SEA. a LONDON, November 23. It is now revealed that in an air combat over the> North Sea on Tuesday eight German machines - were brought down. ,• A 22-year-old Yorkshire pilot sighted a German bomber and climbed up beneath the enemy to a height of five, miles. - He pursued the bomber over the sea and opened fire at 100 yards range. The bomber ’ heeled over after tlie first burst and spiralled down at great speed, It hit the sea as the petrol tank exploded.
