THREE PERSONS HURT.

CAR SKIDS INTO DITCH. (Per Press Association). CHRISTCHURCH, November 23. Three members of a family were injured, and two admitted to hospital, when their car left the road and ran into a. ditch on the Tram Road, near Ohoka, early this morning. Those in hospital are: Mrs J. -Glew, concussion and head injuries, condition satisfactory. Miss Dorothy Glew, abrasions to the head and face, not serious. Mr Glew, the driver of the car escaped with lacerations to the right hand. The family lives at Oxford. They were returning home from Christchurch along the Tram Road about 12.30 this morning, when ■ the car skidded in some loose shingle and left the road, crashing into a ditch. It tilted and buried its front in the ditch', but did not capsize. Considerable damage was done to the wings, radiator, and roof of the car. Dr. C. P. S. Riddell and Sergeant J. Holmes, of Kaiapoi, attended the injured at the scone of the accident.
