FARMERS’ PROTEST.
MASS MEETING AT HAMILTON. HUGE GATHERING EXPECTED. (Per Press Association). • HAMILTON, This Day. Following tlTe decision of representatives of farming and business interests in, Cambridge, Te Awamutu, Morrinsville, Matamata and To Aroha shops in those towns will also close on the afternoon of December 4 so that businessmen and their employees may attend the mass meeting in Hamilton, which it is anticipated will he the largest open-air meeting held in New Zealand.
