NORTHLAND RESOLUTION. (Per Press Association). WHANGAREI, November 22. Mi Appleton said the industry had ieceived with dismay the announcement that last year’s price was to be paid this year. It was resolved to recommend the dairy council that in any discussion with the Minister of Marketing relating to the guaranteed price the deficit or absence of a.surplus in the dairy account he not considered relevant since world wage standards have not been admitted as a. factor by the Government in fixing the wages and hours of New Zealand workers, and that the relation between New Zealand values and London realisations was never admitted a.s a consideration, in the Primary Products Marketing Act.
