(Received This Day, 1.20 p.m.) LONDON, November 17. “The Times” correspondent at Cape own says that General Smuts” Government has a majority of two in the Senate, thanks to the. Support of the Dominion and Labour parties. The results are: Smuts party 13, Dominion party 2, Labour 2 Hertzog supporters 9, Malan suportors '6. Moveover, six senators who are being nojninated will support General Smuts, 'while four senators elected to represent natives are also expected to vote for the Governmentf which. is thus assured of a comfortable majority.
