DECISIONS OF THE COMMITTEE. The president (Mr W. E, Hampton) presided over the monthly meeting of the committee of the Methvcn Agricultural and Pastoral Association. It was decided to amend the rules as follow: “The competition shall mean two or more entires in the same class or section.” The question of allotting second prize money in any class with only two entries was referred to the Finance sub-Cornmittoe for a report, On tho recommendation- of the Dog sub-Committeo if was decided to insert, a maiden class, to be run in conjunction with the open class. Dalgety and Company and the National Mortgage and Agency Company wore given the grazing rights of the show grounds, subject to the Association reserving the stripping of grassseed if considered advisable.

It was decided to apply for a grant from the Southdown Sheep Society to foster judging competitions among the Young Farmers’ Clubs in the County. It was decided to hold meetings monthly.
