LOW COUNTRIES’ ATTITUDE. ANOTHER MOVE INTENDED. . [LONDON, November 13. The Low Countries ore reported to be. determined to set' peace - restored in Europe, and to try again if their present move is unsuccessful. In tlie last 24 hours there has been considered diplomatic, activity in both Belgium and Holland. The Rotterdam correspondent of ‘‘Tlie Times’’ states that Herr Hitler’s reply to the. Beijgian-Netherlands mediation offer should l>o handed over to-morrow. The Netherlands Government does not regard the door as closed. BERLIN HEARS CUNFIRE. NO DETAILS AVAILABLE. (Received This Day, 11.40 a.m.) LONDON, November 1-1. Reports from Berlin state that gunfire was‘audible in .the city for 15 minutes this afternoon.' No details are available at present.
