ESTIMATED NET WAR GAIN. (Received This Day, 1.5 p.m). NEW YORK, November 13. The estimated net- war gain in 1940 to United States business is 880,000,000 dollars, which is about 1 per cent, of the anticipated national income. It adds that i,000,000,000 dollars’ worth of armament business is expected in the next 12 months, hut the loss oi peace-time trade will possibly be 200,000,000 dollars. Aircraft orders at present are worth 30,000,000 dollars, with orders for 70000,000 dollars expected immediately. The Federal works administrator (Mr John, Cfyrmody) predicts that war spending, will re-employ only 500,000 of 9,000,000 unemployed■
