DAIRY PRODUCE.
PRICES FOR AUSTRALIAN. SHIPMENTS TO BRITAIN. (Received This Day, 11.50 a.m.) , CANBERRA, This Day, The Minister of Commerce (Senator McLoay) announced that under the contract for jtlic sale of dairy produce to the United Kingdom the price for cheese will be on the basis of 69s 6d per cwt, landed in London, or 74s 4d, f.o.b. (Australian currency). Full details of prices for butter, f.o.b. were: Choicest 137 s3d per cwt, firs}; grade 135 s lid, second 131 s 2d, pastry 127 s 6d. The prices for cheese were: 90 points and over 74s 4cl, 86 to 89 points 71s 11 cl, 80 to 85 points 69s 6d.
. .A cablegram from Sydney, dated .October 30, Stated:—The price being paid for butter will <be 136 s 4Jd per cwt<- Australian currency, f.o.b. for choicest, and slightly; less for lower grades. The terms of the agreement relating to dairy produce other than the price of butter, will be announced in a few days.
