The New Zealand Racing Conference lias issued its judgment on an, appeal under rule 376 of the Rules of Racing by G. A. McDouall for the removal of the disqualification of the horses Highball and Beau Monde, which was incurred iby reason of C. A. Crosby, falsely known as A. J. McCormac, a person disqualified for life under the name of R. B. Mclntyre, having acquired an interest in the former horse, and having had the latter horse in his charge. The judgment follows: — ‘‘That after hearing the appellant in this matter, we are of the opinion that we should accept his explanation that hei had ;no knowledge of A. J. McC'ormac’s real identity. Accordingly,. the disqualification of the horses Highball and Beau Monde should be removed.”
