DUKE OF WINDSOR.
REPORTED GOING TO LONDON. DELAYED FOR TRANSPORT. (Reported This Day, 9.10 a.m.) LONDON, September 7. It. is reported from Cannes that the Duke and Duchess of Windsor are going to London to-morrow. A spokesman said they intended returning last Saturday, but were unable to fly, after which they have been seeking transportation. \ HOUSING IN RIVIERA VILLA. CHILDREN AND WAR WORKERS. (Received This Day, 9.10 a.m.) NEW YORK,September 7. The New York “Post” says, that Miss Grace Moore arrived at Manhatten from Europe to complete her concert tour, Afterwards she is going to France to drive an ambulance for a unit of which her husband, Mr Perara, is a member. She added that she would not be surprised to see the Duchess of Windsor join the same unit after the Duke has been called for war service. The Duke and Duchess are housing 300 children and war workers in their villa on the Riviera. !
