OBITUARY.

MR T. J. MORGAN. The death of Mr Thomas James Morgan, of Peter Street, Ashburton, occurred in the Ashburton . Public Hospital early to-day. Mr Morgan was 60 years of age. It was .only three weeks yesterday that Mr Morgan retired from-the position of linotype operator on "The Ashburton Guardian,” a position lie Lad held for 35 years. He had suffered illhealth for some, time* apd for this reason was obliged" to> resign. Mr Morgan had been in hospital only a few hours when his death came. He leaves a widow and adult familv.
