BLUE LIGHTS.

TO BE PLACED ON VEHICLES. THE .RULE IN FORCE TO-DAY. From to-day all motor ears which have trailers attached must have a blue light displayed on the highest point of the vehicle, and all lorries that are over 7 feet wide and 20 feet long come under the same rule. Tor some time past, most lorries have been carrying the blue light, many of them have two such lights. As considerable difficulty has been experienced in supplying the blue light equipment, and the Transport Department, it is understood, will not take steps against offenders for a few days.
