Several references to thp Dominions and the refugee problem were ihiado during a brief debate in the House of Lords initiated by the Earl of Lytton, who said that private charity in Britain had' raised £0,000,000 for refugees. The Empire should do more. There were many .undeveloped, tracts in Australia, New Zealand, Rhodesia an<J elsewhere.
