LODGE MEETING.

,• The fortnightly meeting of Pride of Wakanui Lodge, 1.0.C.T., was belt! in the hall on Tuesday evening, the o. T. (Sister El. M. Regg) ‘presiding over a fair attendance.

A vote of sympathy with the relatives of the late Bro. J. Anderson was carried, members standing in silence. The secretary presented a financial statement for the jubilee celebrations showing, a small debit balance. The lodge expressed appreciation of the fact that a number who were not able to attend the celebrations had forwarded generous donations. Bros. E. West and W. Begg made presentations on behalf of the jubilee committee to Bros. J. West and A. Frampton in recognition of their services in connection with the jubilee.

Harmony was community singing, in which members joined heartily.
