HEAVY GALES ENCOUNTERED. (United Press Association —Copyright.i (Received This Day, 11.10 a.m.) SYDNEY, This Day. The Ivalingo arrived at Newcastle yesterday nine days out. from "Wellington. The voyage usually occupies six days. . The vessel experienced strong head winds and huge seas. Gales, at times reaching a velocity of 90 miles an hour, blew the Kalingo north of her course. The .radio aerial tvas blown away last Saturday and communication with the shore stopped.
