The “Evening Standard” says that the belief is growing in London that German military! action against Rumania is not likely at present because— Firstly, roads and railways in Car-. ' patho-Ukraine are inadequate. Secondly, the Iron Guard js now impotent. Thirdly, no efforts have been made to foment trouble among German and Hungarian minorities in Rumania.
