In all 158 Australian orders, including three from the Sydney Life-Saving Associatipn, have been received so far for Lord Nuffield’s gift “iron lungs,” which are going out to all parts oi the world, says a special correspondent of the “Daily Mail,” describing a visit to the factory at Cowley. Mass production turns out 50 “lungs ’ a week. Emergency appeals from hospitals overseas, including French, Finnish, Chinese and American, are never refused, and are always dispatched specially by aeroplane, train or boat.
