WELLINGTON RACING CLUB. TAUBANGI WINS HANDICAP. (Per Press Association). WELLINGTON, March 17. The autumn meeting of the W ellington Racing Club opened at Trentliam to-day in fine rind, warm weather. The track was in excellent order, though not so fast as usual. There was a slight increase in the gates, and a substantial increase in the totalisatoi turnover, which, was £49,191, being £7.589 ahead of the first day last autumn.
