’PLANE CRASH

HITS HILLSIDE IN FOG. ONE KILLED, SIX INJURED. BRITISH OFFICIAL HURT. (United Press Association —Copyright.) (Received This Day, 9.55 a.m.) VIENNA, December 2. Captain F. S. "Wilkins, the Air Ministry’s assistant-inspector of accidents, when travelling to Bagdad to investigate the Calpurnia accident, was slightly injured, when the Lufthanso ’plane crashed on a hillside in fog. Foul 7 members of the crew and two German passengers were seriously injured. The ’plane was burnt out. The Air Ministry ordered Wilkins to return home and is sending out another official.

A Berlin message says that the casualties in the Lufthansa ’plane crash was one killed and six injured.
