DOME SUNDAY SCHOOL
PRESENTATION OF PRIZES. The Ardamine Hall, Doric, was decorated ■with pink and blue lupins for the first annual tea and prize giving of St. Patrick’s Anglican Sunday School. There was a large attendance. Tire tea was followed by a concert, the following being the programme:— Hymns and choruses by all the children; hymn, “All Things Bright and Beautiful,” Shiela McKie, Betty Shaw, Joan Gardiner, Rov Gardiner, Neville Shaw; recitation, Olwyn Thompson; solo, Shiela McKie ; missionary hymn, senior classes; recitation, Neville Shaw.
The prizes won during the' year were presented by Canon H. J. W. Knights. Each child received a New Testament and the following won special prizes:—Good attendance, Joan Gardiner, lloy Gardiner; diligence in senior classes, Betty Shaw, Neville Shaw; diligence in junior class, Dulcie Gardiner; excellence in memory work, seniors, Shiela. McKie, David iGreig; junior, Owen Shaw. A presentation of a tea. waggon to Miss K. McKie on the occasion'of her approaching marriage was made by Mr H. 'Muckle on behalf of the Bible Class and of a savoury set by Mr G. Butler from, the children of the Sunday School.
