AN “ALL-DAY” CURFEW
IN GERMANY ON SATURDAY.
FURTHER ACTION AGAINST JEWS
(United Press Association-Copyright.) (Independent Cable Service). (Received This Day, 10.25 a.m.) BERLIN, November 29. An all-day curfew for Jews lias been ordered lor Saturday, the “day of national solidarity,” when a public collection will be taken up for winter relief. The Schwarze Corps says that on December 31 the last Jewish shop will he closed and th? last Jew in German economic life will disappear.
RESCUE OF JEWS.
LARGE SUM WILL BE NEEDED. (Received This Day, 9.5 a.m.) LONDON, * November 29. The leaders of Jewry have decided that £5,000,000 will be necessary to rescue the Jews from Germany. Of this amount British Jews “and sympathisers will be asked to raise £3,000,000 and the United States and other countries £2,000,000.
