YOUNG FARMERS’ CLUB

MONTHLY MEETING AT HINDS. The monthly meeting of the Hinds Young Farmers’ Club was hold recently. Mr E. Rhodes piesided over a good attendance. Congratulations were received from the Lowcliffe and Hinds Farmers' Union on winning the stock-judging competition at the Ashburton Agricultural and Pastqral Show. A cup donated by Mr White is to lie held by B. J. Simmons and D. G. Tait.for six months each. The secretary was instructed to congratulate the Darfield Young Farmers’ Club on. winning the stock-judg-ing competition at Christchurch. Final arrangements were made l’dr the debate to be held at Methven on November 28. One new member was elected.
