Welsh, E. iStayt, A. McKay. SURREY HILLS BEATS MAYFIELD A cricket match at Mayfield between Surrey Hills and Mayfield, was won by Surrey Hills by an innings and 7 runs. Surrey Hills made 110, the principal scorer being B. Heatley, who retired with 64. A. Whiting made 13 and A. Fagan 10. Godfrey took three wickets and J.Ellery and Divers two each. Mayfield made 56 runs in its first innings, H. Whiting 14 not out, and Burgess 11, being the only doublefigure scorers. Eight batsmen failed to score. Mayfield did no better in its second innings, and was out for 52, five fail-

ing to score. K. Ellery made 11 and Thompson 12. Mayfield batted 12 men. All the wickets in .both innings were taken by Heatley and L. Waterins, Heatley taking 15 and Waterins seven.
