The attendance was m> to the average for the Monday, and the totalisator investments showed an appreciable increase on last year’s figures. The totalisator handled £41,289, compared with £37,410 on the corresponding day last year. Concluding results: — Criterion Handicap, of £500; seven furlongs.—2 (2) Gay Chou 9.0 (P. Burgess) 1, 6 (5) Triune 7.6 2, 4 (4) Alunga 8.2 3. Won by a length, a head between second and third. Time*, 1.24 4-5!
